Feels like an age since we last played but we are back at Stadium MK on Saturday with a local clash with Peterborough United.
The man in charge is Ollie Yates from Staffordshire and he has just 9 games under his belt this season, but he is no slouch when it comes to dishing out cards, with 43 victims already. Surprisingly though he has not converted any of those cards to a double yellow, or sent anyone off, come to that he hasn’t awarded a single penalty either.
We last saw Mr Yates on a very memorable journey up to the Stadium of Light last season where we ran out 2-1 winners against the mighty Sunderland. Most people recall that Connor Wickham got the winner, but can you remember who got our first goal, more on that at the bottom of the page, incidentally that was the second year running we had achieved the same result.
Last season Ref Yates was the man with the whistle on 29 occasions and dished out 95 yellow cards, 2 of which he converted to double yellows. In addition, he handed out 2 straight reds and awarded 6 penalties.
Assisting Mr Yates will be Joe Stokes and Steven Plane on the flags with Kevin Howick as the 4th Official.
Right you’ve had enough time to think, the other goal scorer was Mo Eisa with the result confirming the Dons 3rd place in the table after 33 games played.
