First Impressions of the stadium, parking, ease of entry. 6Arrival at STok Cae Ras was quite easy. Although getting dropped in the access road of a busy car park was a little surprising. The gateman seemed caught out by four buses. After advising everyone to get there early they weren’t exactly set up and the turnstiles opened a little later than advertised.
Food & Drink, range, quality, price. 5The kiosk wasn’t open when the turnstiles opened. Everything was hot, very hot. But just one tiny kiosk for a sold out away end meant horrendus waits to get served. The pies were tasty and reasonably priced to be fair.
View from your seat, any poles in the way, obstructed view, seat broken? 5 From the upper section there was a post in the way, other than that, it was a standard plastic seat. Presume that stand will get a tidy up in the years to come.
Home team support, was it a library, good banter between the fans? 6To be honest it wasnt as good as expected. They made noise granted, and there was a little banter from a small group in the section to our right. They had a drum. Wouldn’t let us bring ours mind. They went very quite a few times.
What were the stewards like, helpful and friendly or jobsworths? 7All good, humour was shared and there was no report of anything heavy handed. Had little to do between our and their fans to our left. Low profile does work.
Toilet facilities, clean and well equipped with hot water, disgusting. 6Clean and tidy but lacked hot water and soap with one very weak hand-dryer and for a sell out there were queue as it was a tad compact.
Ticket pricing, did the price reflect the facilities of the ground? 8Adult ticket was £24 and yes, it seemed fair. They’ll be a few that charge more and offer less, with a few tweaks the scores could be higher in some other areas.
Ground facilities, half time service, did they let fans outside at halftime? 7Less than a mile from the centre of town and its crumbling down, no-one invested so much as a penny …over to you Deadpool and Rob McElhenney …a bit of modernising of our view wouldnt go amiss. The Kop is finally getting rebuilt.
Match atmosphere, did the Dons fans give good support? 9We witnessed the best ninety minutes in almost a year. The 1115 away fans were magnificent, we traded songs and sang alone all game long. Attendance was 10,205.
Ease of exit, did the carpark clear quickly, traffic around the stadium? 6The buses were parked nice and close but as there was only one road out exit was harder than it needed to be, no priority given to them.
