Dons Bring German Training Camp to a Close

This week Graham Alexander took his squad to Hannover and got a good look at them, morning noon and night.

The players were put through their paces and pushed as Alexander and his coaching staff targetted an improvement in fitness as a priority with early morning runs before breakfast, cycle rides and plenty of workouts.

We saw lots of images of the hardwork from the media team comprising images of team bonding and working hard.

Ahead of the behind close doors friendly played on Friday afternoon the Dons carried on the Alexander tradition of a training session in the morning. As the Gaffer says “its about improving fitness not the results at this stage of the season”

Dons lost 1-0 to Osnabruck in what seemed to a be a close encounter in the third run out ahead of the Wrexham game in a fortnight.

The Dons now head home to prepare for Alexander’s home debut against Coventry City on Tuesday night. The kick-off at StadiumMK is now 7pm.
