The Dons started the day with a distinct lack of goalkeepers, and by 8pm yesterday there was no room at the Inn.
Alexander arrived just a few weeks back. He knew he needed a glove wearer or two. He found them, and you’ve got to say he’s done some really good business here.
First up, we were told a young keeper who previously shut us out in a 1-0 defeat had put pen to paper. His contract ended with Charlton. We’ve got him on a free. His name is Nathan Harness, and he’s 23 years old. That game was in Jan 2022 it was in the League Trophy. He arrives as a decent proposition and backup keeper.
A second keeper in one day is a familiar face. One many of us cursed on the final day at Burton when his determination and heroics kept us from getting the goal we needed to stay up last season. 30 year old former Burton and Pompey keeper Craig MacGillivray joins on a free and should be the first choice in Alexander’s side.
We’d like wish both Nathan and Craig a big MK welcome and look forward to seeing them both help the push for promotion this season.
