Sunday sees the final of the League Two play-off final at Wembley between Carlisle United and Stockport County. The winner will play in League One and the loser will complete the League Two picture and be one of the 23 teams to face the Dons next season.
If the play-off games are anything to go by its likely to be a very close encounter. Stockport finished 3rd on 79 points and Carlisle 4th just three points behind them on 76 points. Stockport won more games but Carlisle were harder to beat, losing fewer games.
The first game between them near the end of October at Edgeley Park ended in a 2-0 win for the Hatters. At the time the Cumbrians were in the last play-off place and Stockport were in 16th place.
The return game in April finished Carlisle 2-2 Stockport and virtually ended both sides hopes of automatics as it left them in their final postions but they were four points behind Stevenage who had a game in hand.
By 4pm on Sunday we should know the outcome.
