By Groundhopper, MKDSA Roving Reporter

After several long trips Groundhopper took the shortest trip to wrong end of the county of Buckinghamhire. Here’s the view of the day out on The Industrial Estate.

First Impressions of the stadium, parking, ease of entry. 7Adams Park is situated at the far end of an industrial estate and parking is an issue. The coaches parked in the usual spot at the rear of a nearby industrial unit. There’s a shuttle bus running from the railway station to the ground. The ground has a capacity just over 10,000.
Entry to the ground was straightforward but, as on previous visits, searches were cursory.
Food & Drink, range, quality, price. 7The away fan village with a beer tent was in place outside the ground and food was available from nearby vans. I can recommend the German Grill House. I’m told that the alcohol wasn’t much cheaper than that available at SMK and not of the best quality. The kiosk inside the ground serves hot food and drinks but no alcohol. The hot drinks were reasonably priced but the food was as expensive as last season.
View from your seat, any poles in the way, obstructed view, seat broken? 8
We were located in the East stand behind the goal where the view of the pitch was unobstructed although seats are cramped.
Home team support, was it a library, good banter between the fans? 7The attendance for this fixture was 6,149, so down on last season. The terrace of home fans located behind the other goal could be heard.
What were the stewards like, helpful and friendly or jobsworths? 6The stewards on the gate were friendly and were very helpful and reassuring when a couple were separated at the turnstile due to a ticketing issue. On this visit we were told to sit where we liked.  I’m told there were some issues at half-time with some stewards being over zealous and looking to eject some supporters.
Toilet facilities, clean and well equipped with hot water, disgusting. 7The toilet blocks are small, in need of attention, ran out of paper and there there was no hot water. One of the toilets in the ladies hadn’t been repaired since our last visit.
Ticket pricing, did the price reflect the facilities of the ground? 5£26 for an adult ticket is one of the most expensive in the league and didn’t reflect the facilities.
Ground facilities, half time service, did they let fans outside at halftime? 6The small concourse area at the side of the stand is open to the elements and there is little room. After some delay fans were allowed out to smoke at half-time and access the away fan area.  Wheelchair users were located with their own fans.
Match atmosphere, did the Dons fans give good support? 8There were 893 Dons fans in attendance for this match. The away support was once again excellent, making plenty of noise without the drum as Wycombe still aren’t allowing any musical instruments.
Ease of exit, did the carpark clear quickly, traffic around the stadium? 4The coaches were waiting for us behind the industrial unit and our exit away from the ground was incredibly slow as usual.
