Charlie Bill has lead the Dons to their sixth Berks and Bucks County Cup this afternoon.
In a very close game the Dons were made to work by a team two levels below them at The Meadow in Chesham.
The Dons made three changes from the side beaten in league action on Tuesday night.
A goal in each half by Player of the Match Laura Mitchell was added to at the death by Mollie Coupar.
The first came midway through the first half when Nicola Puddicks effort was parried and Mitchell dotted home .
After half time a superb Sansom save in a one on one seem to take the wind out of a brave Abingdon’s sail it was then Mitchell got her second on seventy seven minutes.
Mitchell turned provider for Mollie Coupar who netted her 23rd of the season with three minutes left.
So the Dons return to MK1 with the trophy on the bus. Well done …enjoy it.
