MKDSA Accessibility Guide To Bolton Wanderers

By Jo and Jeff Newall Disability Officers MKDSA

Accessibility Provisions at the University of Bolton Stadium

One occasion where we can say based on our previous visit 3 years ago, all is good. Easy to get to, immediately off the motorway. Details of all accessibility provisions at https://www.bwfc.co.uk/the-stadium/disabled-fans/ For specific accessibility enquiries contact Daniel Scott, Disability Liaison Officer, dscott@bwfc.co.uk 01204 673652

Parking
Lots of parking including Blue Badge wide spaces very close to where we enter the stadium. Parking £8 cashless. Details of how to pay (no cash accepted) at:
https://www.bwfc.co.uk/the-stadium/cashless-parking/

Accessible Away Travel
Spaces can be booked on an accessible mini-bus that is part of the Dons Official Away Travel via the Dons Box Office, same prices as the official away coach.

Provisions for Away Wheelchair Users
Pitch side, on a raised wide safe platform behind the goal at the away end. Further details in the review of our last visit at https://www.levelplayingfield.org.uk/club/bolton-wanderers/

Easy Access Seating
No step-free access seating apart from wheelchair companion seats but first two rows are reserved as easy access seating.

Audio Commentaries
Available, require pre-booking by contacting Daniel Scott, contact details above.

Accommodation
Stadium has pitch view hotel rooms as at Stadium MK if you want an overnight stay, it will be Valentines Day! When we enquired 3 years ago, they had no rooms with level access showers and it seems this has not changed.

See you there. Jo & Jeff Newall, MKDSA Disability Officers. Any queries re Bolton or anything else access related, contact us at disabilitymkdsa@gmail.com
