Second Stand In Boss May Be Needed for Next Week

By The MKDSA Media Team

With it a bit unlikely that MK Dons will have a permanent replacement in place for Tuesday’s visit of Leicester City in the Carabao Cup. The thinking of MK Citizen chief Dons reporter Toby Lock is the search for a sub for the sub is underway.

Toby is well ahead of the curve, its known that Lewington postponed his planned last week to oversee the Dons visit to Bristol Rovers and it has been recsheduled for “early” this week.

So who can step up? It would appear theres not a lot of “Prime Candidates” within the club with no coaching staff since Liam Mannings departure. The obvious candidate would be within the playing staff.

We can only see a choice of two …David Martin, another Dons legend and much respected person within the corridors of StadiumMK or possibly with the most experience it could be Bradley Johnson, but his current on -field marmite status its not likely in our eyes.

Some might say if Argentina beat France on Sunday afternoon none other than our lovable Franco Ravizzoli could stake a big claim to be linked to success and the rightful heir to the throne ?

This is clearly far from a definitive list and far from being decided this is another one of those typical Dons situations …its fun …sort of. The distraction of two cup games and a difficult away fixture few expect to win has taken off any pressure or expectations.

We think the fans would just really like someone in place for the Boxing Day visit of Forest Green Rovers ….please Santa make them a good one.
