Ref Watch Portsmouth

By The MKDSA Media Team

The referee for our League One visit to Fratton Park, Samuel Barrott, has been another lucky charm for us over his last three games.

He featured in our biggest win this season; 0-4 away at Morecambe on the 27th August.

Last season we saw him twice.

He was the man in the middle for the 1-0 win at The Abbey Stadium when Warren O’Hora broke Cambridge hearts from a Dan Harvie throw in. That day O’Hora was booked, as was the usual suspect, David Kasumu and Connor Coventry

His other appearance last season was at StadiumMK when play off placed Plymouth visited with newly appointed Steven Schumacher who had just taken over from Preston bound Ryan Lowe. No Dons players were booked in the earning of the point in the 1-1 draw. Tennai Watson scored in the first half.

www.football-lineups.com tells me that Samuel has been involved in 23 matches so far this season where just one red card and a smattering of penalties (four) have been given.

Mr Barrott will have Justin Amey and Kevin Morris as Assistant Referees and the Fourth Official is Scott Williams.
