Following on from the 1-3 home defeat to Derby County here are a selection of the views of players managers and the media and even one from a fan this week.
Liam Manning talking to mkdons.com said “Of course it hurts losing, but we’ve gotpositives to take. I look back four or five weeks ago compared to now and, first of all, we’ve got our identity back. We’ve settled on this team now and you can see the relationships developing”
Richie Barker talking to dcfc.co.uk said “I think the most pleasing thing for me was, firstly, coming back from a goal behind very quickly and, secondly, the effort levels off the back of a fantastic shift from the group on Wednesday evening at Liverpool in the Carabao Cup. It would have been easy to come here and say: ‘look we’re a little bit tired from Wednesday night’ – so to do what they did was an amazing effort.”
Toby Lock of The MK Citizen said “Disappointment here, not for the performance, bu the result. Clinical from the visitors who took their chances when they came. Dons left to rue missed opportunities from Grigg and Johnson in the first half which could have put it to bed.”
Alby on twitter said “Harsh on us but this is what happens when you play against players miles better than what you have”
