Ben Toner is the Man in the Middle for the visit of Morecambe in the Third Round (Last 32) of the Carabao Cup (League cup).
Our last two encounters with Ben as ref haven’t gone too well. Last season Mr T oversaw our home defeat to Sheff Wed (2-3) and this season he was at St. James Park, Exeter for 1-0 away loss. Hopefully he is third time a charm ?
This season Ben has conducted 16 games across Leagues 1 and 2, Carabao Cup and PJT issuing 27 yellow cards, no red cards and just 2 penalties. In our game at Exeter he gave out two yellows, one of which to Daniel Harvie.
Assistant Referees with Ben Toner are Lisa Rashid and Grant Taylor with the David Rock acting as Fourth Official.
