Hall of Fame Update

Voting has started on our first inductees into the MKDSA Hall of Fame and we can bring you the latest voting and a mini bio of the nominations brought to you from the MKDSA Archives. Voting ends 12th November.

Currently the voting is as follows

Izale McLeod 32%

Dean Bowditch 24%

Gareth Edds 14%

Izale McLeod  Izale signed from Derby County in 2004 and scored the clubs first goal against Barnsley. He rejoined MK Dons in January 2013 and ended his MK Dons career as the clubs record goalscorer with 71 goals and 188 appearances.


Dean Bowditch Signing in 2011 on a free transfer from Yeovil Town, Dean quickly became a fans favourite at MK1 being part of the 2015 promotion team to the Championship. He stayed with MK Dons until the end of his contract in 2017. He made 227 appearances ranking 6th in all time appearances and scored 48 goals ranking all time 4th.


Luke Chadwick  Former Premier League winner originally joined MK Dons on loan in 2008 from Norwich City before joining permanently in January 2009. He was named player of the year in 2010 and 2011 and stayed with MK Dons until the Summer of 2014. He made 210 appearances and scored 24 goals.


Darren Potter  Liverpool born Darren joined MK Dons in 2011 from Sheffield Wednesday being named Player of the Season at the end of his first year. His best football was arguably played during 2014 and 2016 for MK Dons playing a key part during the 2014/2015 Promotion season. He left MK Dons in 2017 with 229 appearances and 12 goals.


Gareth Edds Gareth joined MK Dons in 2004 from Bradford City and instantly became a cult hero for his last day double against Tranmere Rovers to keep MK Dons in League One in May 2005. He left in 2008 to join Tranmere Rovers after MK Dons’ League 2 promotion. He made 122 appearances and scored 12 goals. 


Aaron Wilbraham Striker Aaron came to MK Dons in 2005 from Hull City and became a first team regular. He became the third MK Dons player to score a hatrick in 2008. He made 178 appearances and scored 57 goals before leaving for Norwich City in December 2010.


Clive Platt  Striker Clive joined MK Dons in January 2005 under Danny Wilson. The 2006/2007 season was a more successful season for Platt who scored 18 goals. He was also the first MK Dons player to score a hatrick against Barnet in 2007. He finished his MK Dons career with 102 appearances and 29 goals. 

Stephen Gleeson  Stephen Gleeson joined MK Dons on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2009 and joined permanently that Summer. He scored the first goal against AFC Wimbledon in the FA Cup live on ITV writing himself in MK Dons history. He left to join Birmingham City in the Summer of 2014. He made 174 appearances and scored 17 goals.
