Armed Forces Day

By The MKDSA Media Team

MK Dons are holding the annual Armed Forces Day as we host Derby County at StadiumMK on Saturday 12th November.

The Remembrance Weekend will see grounds around the country fall silent just before kickoff as fans pay tribute to those who served their country over the years.

The half-time parade is always well supported and this year will be no different as the flags and marchers walk around the pitch perimeter.

ARMED FORCES DAY
Supporters can expect military themed activities ahead of the game, such as:

  • A pre-match ceremony paying tribute to the serving and past members of the armed forces
  • Military vehicles on display
  • Armed forces themed activities in the Young Dons Zone, located in the Pitch Study Centre from 1.30pm
  • A half-time parade featuring local military personnel
  • The Royal British Legion will lead a minute’s silence prior to kick-off to allow everyone inside Stadium MK the opportunity to remember those who have given their lives while serving their country.

Tickets have been discounted for serving and veteran members of the armed forces and un-uniformed organisations. Those who are eligible can purchase tickets for just £1 with additional guest tickets available at a rate of £12 adults, £3 seniors/under-18s and £1.50 under-12s.

Other ticket prices are available at www.mkdons.com
