MKDSA UPDATE

MKDSA UPDATE

23 September 2022

The MKDSA would like to offer a warm welcome to our committee to a few new faces & and updates to members, on two new roles that have been created.

The first new role as part of our commitment to creating a culture of equality, diversity & inclusion (EDI), we’re delighted to welcome Amanda Lansbury as our EDI officer. Amanda will be supporting the committee by working to engage & highlight a range of initiatives to raise awareness across a broad spectrum, whilst also being a point of contact for our members & fans on this important aspect as we look to deepen our commitment & relationship with a number of charities & organisations in our local community. A warm welcome to her & we look forward to her input as a valued member of the MKDSA committee.

We also welcome Jackie Burr as our joint General Secretary. Jackie has previously been on the committee as membership officer & had stayed on the committee for this year too. She brings with her a wealth of experience to add support to our existing Secretary Louise Walsh, as she begins engaging on the Supporters board on behalf of the MKDSA.

A warm welcome to Franco Volpe, our new Vice Chair. Franco has been a dedicated MK Dons supporter since the very start & has also been part of the MKDSA in the early days & across the years. With his wealth of experience to draw on, we look forward to having his input & support on the current committee. A valued asset to our team. Welcome Franco.

Last but by no means least, we welcome not one but two John’s. Firstly, John Samuel is back on the committee, who as our previous Vice Chair has extensive experience with the MKDSA over the years & will bring with him great input & knowledge, as a General Committee member & will also be part of the Supporters board on behalf of the MKDSA working with Louise. Welcome back John.

Secondly a warm welcome to another new member, John Bullard. John is a passionate & dedicated Dons supporter, following the team home & away on a regular basis. You will usually find him cheering the team on from the Club Red area at home games. He brings with him great energy & a fresh perspective. Welcome John.

We also have a new member to the committee from our AGM & welcome Arthur Harris to the team as General Member. Welcome Arthur we look forward to having you with us.

I hope you will all join me in wishing them every success as part of the new committee & we look forward to working with them all.

Aiden Gray – MKDSA Chairman.
