Many thanks to Trotter’s fan Cameron Lee Finch who went to great lengths to get this weeks Trash Talk to us, and just after Burton Albion had beaten his beloved Bolton 3-1 last Tuesday night, so again many thanks a superb effort which we appreciate.

1 – With the Transfer Window done and dusted, how has it gone for your club, some great acquisitions, or have you lost a player that you would really have liked to have kept for the run in?
The transfer window has gone great for Bolton Wanderers, we signed striker Dion Charles and he’s scored 5 in his last 6 games. Marlon Fossey probably our best signing and RWB Morley. James Trafford in goal has kept 4 clean sheets in a row in his first 4 games prior to the Burton game, and we’ve also signed Bodvarsson, Dempsey, and Sadlier but we did let Eoin Doyle leave after he scored 27 goals in one and half seasons for us. Since our new signings have played we have Lost 1, Drawn 1, and Won 6, with a 6-0 win against Sunderland.
2 – Where do you see your club being in the league table at the end of the season, and indeed where do you see the MK Dons finishing?
I see Bolton Wanderers to be honest finishing 9th, that will be a successful season for us, and I think MK Don’s will finish round 5th in my opinion. I am actually surprised how well MK Dons have done this season.
3 – Who is the best and the worst team you have played this season so far?
The best team is close between Wigan and Rotherham. Wigan beat us 4-0, Rotherham beat us 2-0. Rotherham controlled everything, our GK just stopped them from scoring 4 or 5. The worst team we have faced was Sunderland when we demolished them 6-0 at our ground, it could have been 7 or 8 or more.
4 – If you had the opportunity which current League 1 player would you like to sign for your club?
Cole Stockton upfront with Dion Charles, that would be amazing, both awesome finishers.
5 – Promotion and playoff places are tight this season, who do you see filling those berths?
Automatic promotion 1st Rotherham, 2nd Wigan, play offs 3rd Sunderland, 4th Plymouth, 5th MK Dons, 6th Oxford.
6 – One team always seems to come from nowhere to challenge for a playoff spot, who would be your pick?
To be honest I actually thought this side would be top 2 or definitely challenging for top 2, so I say Sheffield Wednesday as they do have the quality to make that late charge.
7 – Is there any MK Dons player that you fear could be a big influence on the result of our fixture?
1000% Scott Twine even bought him once for Bolton in one of my FIFA Career modes, one amazing young player.
8 – What style of play can we expect to see from your team?
Bolton play from the back, our biggest threat going is our attacking wing backs. Marlon Fossey down right-side rips defensive apart then drills low crosses into box, and we do great build up play from back to CM to CAM then to Charles or Dapo Afolayan.
9 – Can you tell us a player we should look out for from your team?
Centre Back “The Wall” Almeida Santos, 6ft 6ins tall. if you have a Striker trying to run at Santos and go shoulder to shoulder he will be barged on the floor easily, Santos is a beast. Striker/Midfielder Dapo Afolayan has 13 goals, is very pacey and is the most tackled player in League 1 and has the most successful dribbles in league. Striker Dion Charles is a clinical finisher and when out of possession constantly pressures every defender and GK. Lastly the fans favourite RWB Marlon Fossey, amazing link up with RB Jones who like to overlap each other. On loan from Fulham with view to buy we already said we are going to buy him permanent, it’s only been 4 weeks, that’s how well he has played.
10 – Many Thanks for taking part, all we need now is your match prediction?
Our first meeting, first game of the season was 3-3, I’m 100% not being biased but I think 1-2 Bolton or a 2-2 draw.
