DONNY & MOOIE TROPHY LINCOLN CITY

First Impressions of the stadium, parking, ease of entry.7The LNER stadium is located in a built-up area and the availability of parking close to the stadium is limited. However, parking for away coaches has been relocated considerably reducing the walk to the ground. Parking is also available adjacent to the ground for one supporter coach with accessibility needs adjacent to the ground, a short distance from the away end. Unfortunately, our coach was unable to safely negotiate the entrance and so passengers alighted at the gate and walked round.
Food & Drink, range, quality, price.8Outside the away entrance was a fenced off area with a bar. Inside the ground was a burger van selling a variety of hot food and drink including burgers, sausages, chips etc. Prices were standard. These areas were uncovered.
View from your seat, any poles in the way, obstructed view, seat broken?8We were located behind a goal with a fairly good obstructed in places by the roof support pillars.
Home team support, was it a library, good banter between the fans?6They were fairly vocal but could have made more noise. Their attempt to exchange banter with the away support got battered. No homemade flags on display this time.
What were the stewards like, helpful and friendly or jobsworths?9The stewards were very friendly and helpful. The Lincoln SLOs are probably some of the best you’ll encounter providing a host of information in the run up to the match including the new parking arrangements
Toilet facilities, clean and well equipped with hot water, disgusting.7The toilets are dated but we’re clean and there was hot water. Portals were also provided in the concourse and external fan area.
Ticket pricing, did the price reflect the facilities of the ground?6An adult ticket was £24. This was an all ticket match I believe to ensure that the attendance was kept below 10k and thus avoid the Covid regulations. Unfortunately, some fans were unable to obtain tickets in time and did not travel. It was very disappointing to see Lincoln announce at 1pm that tickets would be available to away fans on the day, too late for supporters to travel
Ground facilities, half time service, did they let fans outside at halftime?7The concourse and bar area are in the open and so fans are at the mercy of the elements. Fans were allowed out to smoke.
Match atmosphere, did the Dons fans give good support?8The 333 Dons fans were vocal although the poor start to the game put a dampener on the noise for a while. The drum was allowed and there was plenty of banter thrown back at the home fans as the second half progressed.
Ease of exit, did the carpark clear quickly, traffic around the stadium?7Departure from the immediate area was initially slow but didn’t hold us back for long.
