Once again Groundhopper was out an about on Tuesday night and reporting back on what Sheffield Wednesday has to offer….SPOILER ALERT….it doesn’t rate higly in our League table, Shrewsbury are still top of the pile.

| First Impressions of the stadium, parking, ease of entry. | 7 | An older ground in a built-up area. The coach dropped us off near the away end in Leppings Lane where we were allocated one block in the upper part of the West Stand. Wheelchair bays for visiting supporters are in the stand’s lower tier. We were greeted on the concourse by the extremely loud PA system. | |

| View from your seat, any poles in the way, obstructed view, seat broken? | 8 | We were in one block directly behind the goal with a good view of the pitch hindered at times by the posts at either side of the stand. | |
| Home team support, was it a library, good banter between the fans? | 6 | They weren’t making as much noise as anticipated considering the attendance although there was a drum. Not much banter coming from them, and they only made some noise when they equalised. | |
| What were the stewards like, helpful and friendly or jobsworths? | 7 | Friendly, no apparent issues. | |
| Toilet facilities, clean and well equipped with hot water, disgusting. | 6 | Very dated and in need of an overhaul. | |
| Ticket pricing, did the price reflect the facilities of the ground? | 6 | £24 for an adult is one of the more expensive in the league which doesn’t reflect the standard of facilities. | |
| Ground facilities, half time service, did they let fans outside at halftime? | 6 | In need of an update. Fans were allowed downstairs to smoke. The PA system in the stands was also too loud. | |
| Match atmosphere, did the Dons fans give good support? | 7 | We didn’t take the drum and I don’t know how many fans travelled but they made plenty of noise. | |
| Ease of exit, did the carpark clear quickly, traffic around the stadium? | 6 | Traffic around the stadium was very slow to clear. | |
