FAN BAR WYCOMBE

We are pleased to tell you that after our online poll the fan bar will soon be known as Lewington’s, the club have given their seal of approval and plans are currently underway to have an official opening ceremony with all the new signage in place. It is hoped that the man himself will be able to spare us 5 minutes before a game, and Pete will also be present to say a few words, more news on all that when we get it.

This coming Saturday we are at home to Wycombe Wanderers in the “Battle for Bucks” game with the kick-off at 3pm, but you can join us before that with the doors opening at 12-30pm, access to the bar is at Gate 5. Live on the TV’s will be the Premiership early kick off.

CHELSEA v MANCHESTER CITY

We have had a few sound issues lately, the TV ’s just can’t cope with the noise of the bar so grateful thanks to the MK Dons Fans Facebook Group who have kindly donated the MKDSA sufficient funds to buy a Soundbar and a Sub-Woofer which will hopefully be in place for the Wycombe game and cure the problem, so on behalf of the MKDSA many thanks to Senior Admin Nick Hedges and the subscribers of the group for helping us out.

Access to the bar can also be gained from the concourse once the turnstiles are opened at 1-30pm, and there is also lift access for those less ambulant. For those that wish to pop outside for a bit of fresh air, or a cigarette, there is an area outside that can be accessed using the opposite stairs to which you entered the stadium.

Please note the bar will close 1 hour after the final whistle and entry can only be gained from the concourse, if you exit the stadium, you will not be allowed to re-enter.

As usual we will be selling memberships to the MKDSA, or if you have already paid online, you can collect your membership cards. We will open the MKDSA stand around 1pm and be open along with our popular programme shop until around 2-30pm, please note we will not be open at halftime or after the final whistle. Memberships start at just £1-50 for an Under 18 for the season, or £3 for an adult, other membership packages are available including Life membership.

We will also be doing a bit of fundraising for the MKDSA so we can continue to make improvements to the bar, so expect to see John encouraging you to have a go on the football card at just £1 a go.

Last weeks winner was Keith Wiggins who chose Swansea City.

We look forward to seeing you in the Number 1 venue at SMK, but before you make your way up to the Fan Bar get yourself a cheeseburger from the best Burger Wagon in the Football League as the CazBar will be on site from 8-00am on Saturday
