THE FLOOR IS YOURS MAX HORSFIELD

Many thanks to all those people that have completed the questionnaires so far, please be patient we are trying to include as many as possible, but don’t worry we will get them up for people to read, and there are some fantastic stories to come. If you have a story you think other Dons fans would be interested to read, please contact us at mediamkdsa@yahoo.com and we will get some questions to you as soon as possible.

Today’s volunteer is 15-year-old Max Horsfield whose picture is below when he was a Matchday Mascot in the home game against Bournemouth in the 2012/13 season………. for the record we lost 3-0.

Tell us a little bit about how you became a Dons fan and what was your first game?

I first started going to Dons in the 2008/09 season, and I think my first game was Leyton Orient at home that season which the Dons lost 2-1 and Luke Chadwick scored our goal.

What were your expectations for us pre-season, and have you changed your mind on what you have seen so far?

My preseason expectations were a hopeful playoff place, but I’ve now changed my mind. Now I’ll be happy with a high mid table finish or anything above 12th.

Which Dons player, or players have really impressed you so far this season?

There have been a few players that have impressed me this season including Jerome, Gladwin and Sorinola. When Jerome joined, I didn’t know how fit he was gonna be, also didn’t know if Sorinola would be able to step up as well he has.

What is your favourite Dons moment?

My favourite ever Dons moment was when we beat QPR 4-2 away from home in the FA Cup. We had sold out the whole away end and it was a really good atmosphere especially after going 4-0 up.

Who is your all-time favourite player and why?

My favourite player of all time is Dean Bowditch. This is because when he first joined, he was one of our best players and he was also just a really nice guy.

Who is a good tip for promotion and relegation in League 1?

My predictions for promotion are Lincoln, Hull City and Portsmouth and for relegation I think Burton Albion, Swindon, AFC Wimbledon, and Wigan.

Home games, or away games?

I definitely prefer away games as I think the atmosphere is better due to all the fans being close together and compact.

All fans love a good awayday, are there any grounds you look forward to visiting again, or perhaps one on your bucket list?

As for grounds I’d like to go to, then I would like to go to Fratton Park.

White shirt, red shirt, or black shirt?

I’d go with the white shirt although I’m a big fan of the black one with the bits of gold.

Your preferred matchday grub?

My favourite match day grub is just a bar of chocolate.
