LEAGUE 1 ROUNDUP

Iā€™m going to give us the result of the day and why not, bottom of the table beating 4th and against a team unbeaten in 11 games on the road is worthy of that accolade.

Ipswich remain top with a 2-0 home win against Accrington, Edwards and Sears scoring for the Tractor Boys, the only blemish on their record being the 1-1 draw with us.

Fleetwood and Lincoln played out a featureless 0-0 draw, with Lincoln just about edging it but having to be satisfied with a point.

Peterborough recorded a 2-0 home win against our opponents on Tuesday Oxford United, Ward and Dembele doing the damage for Posh.

Sadly, AFC lost to an injury time goal at home to Shrewsbury, Clarke scoring in the 91st minute with only the second Shrews shot on target.

Relegated from the Championship Charlton beat another relegated side in the shape of Wigan Athletic, former Don Jake Forster-Caskey scoring the winning goal just after the hour.

Rochdale dominated the possession at home to Hull City but ended up with a 3-0 drubbing, Wilks scoring after 20 minutes, then two goals in two minutes sunk the Dale, a further goal from Wilks and then Magennis put the game to bed.

A good result came the way of Doncaster Rovers with a rare 1-0 victory down in Portsmouth, with James scoring the winning goal with 10 minutes to go.

Bristol Rovers and Burton Albion played out a 1-1 draw that saw Burton drop into the bottom four, Daly scoring first for the Rovers, and Hemmings with the equaliser for Albion.

Sunderland had a good 2-0 away to Swindon town to move them up to 5th spot, Wyke got the scoring going late in the first half, with Maguire wrapping things up from the spot on the hour mark.

Crewe and Blackpool shared the points in a 1-1 result, Mandron scoring for Alex and Ward levelling things up with 20 minutes to go.

Plymouth stealthily moved up into the top 6 with a 2-1 home win against the Cobblers that plunged them into the relegation zone. Journeyman Frank Nouble got Argyle underway at the end of the first half, Korboa making it level  for Northampton, only for them to concede four minutes from time at the hands of Kell Watts.
