IT’S A ROLLOVER

This week we briefly let James Rees out of the archive cupboard in Stadium MK just long enough to pass us this edition of the Red Dot from just over ten years ago, but he is now back safely in the archive sifting through more programmes for the busy schedule ahead.

This week, we look back on an MK Dons 2-0 victory over Gillingham on October 17th, 2009 back in the Paul Ince era.

Jermaine Easter opened the scoring for the Dons on 61 minutes and Aaron Wilbraham secured the win in the dying embers. This meant another away defeat for Gillingham, while the Dons went up to third in League One.

For the record, the Dons ended up in 12th place that season, and the Gills were relegated. Jermaine Easter hit the back of the net 19 times and the Dons failed at the final hurdle in the Football League Trophy losing to Southampton in the area final over two legs.
