A Welcome from the Chairman

Can I firstly welcome you all to our brand-new superb MKDSA website, and many thanks to those who had some involvement and input in getting the website to the starting line.

As you can already see it is a vast improvement on past MKDSA websites and brings us more into line with todays modern media outlets, but this is only the beginning as we intend to keep building and expanding its potential, we still have much more to upload to the site as the season progresses.

As the season picks up we intend to push weekly features, game by game reports and analysis, away ground guides with travel information, a look back at the old programmes and results from way back when of our opponents that week, and basically as much information we can bombard you with game by game. There will be things that you can get involved in, even if it is just sending us your matchday videos and photographs for inclusion on the site, we would love to see them.

We would also encourage anyone interested in a bit of amateur journalism to contact our Media Manager at mediamkdsa@yahoo.com , we have already recruited two volunteers, but we are happy to take on more. We do not really care too much what you want to write about so long as its Dons related and would be of interest to our fans.

Whilst I’m happy to let you explore the site at your leisure, I want to direct you to the MKDSA Archive, it is an incredible labour of love put together over the years by former committee member Russell Forgham of the complete history of the MK Dons, including results, team photos, matchday programmes, and so much more including a fact laden article that lays out the complete story of the move from Wimbledon, and it is all backed up with documented evidence and not just some cheap hack story to sell newspapers, it is a must read for any Dons fan interested in the true story of
exactly what happened, when, where and how.

I’d also like to direct you to the membership page where we have come up with what we believe to be a fantastic idea based on you signing up as a member and it offers real rewards for some lucky members, and all at a cut price of £2 for Adults and £1 for Under 18’s for the season, or if you prefer
you can take on a life membership for just £20. We have a free monthly member draw and an incredible star prize to be drawn later in the season, so do not miss out on that, full details on that star prize and how and where you can join up can be found on the membership page.

Can I lastly say I fully understand the negativity in the past towards the MKDSA, I myself was a big critic, but I hope you can see from what we have already done to what we plan in the future that is all about to change and we invite you to join us on that journey.

I hope to see you all very soon.

Come on You Dons
