The Dons are looking to show that they can bounce back from a first league defeat on Tuesday night.
Sitting 4th in the table and three points off top the Dons travel to The Jobserve Community Stadium to face bottom side Colchester United. Lets not read too much into the league positions as yet because the season before last when we finished third, we struggled to overcome bottom four sides.
Last League Game
The Dons lost their unbeaten record in rather unexciting cicumstances, they drew level through Mo Eisa but never looked capable of shutting down Crawley’s industrious midfield who ran circles around us all night.
Colchester slipped to their second defeat in a row since their first home game was postponed due to a flooded pitch. Tuesday night they went down 0-2 to AFC

Team News
No new injuries that we’re aware of and this team boasts two of the top six goal scorers in the division. Eisa has 3 goals and one assist and Leko has 2 goals and one assist. So just Dean Lewington is out of contention. Alexander talked about the rotation on the bench, fans are wondering if he gets swayed by young fan Issac who clearly told the Gaffer how good Matt Dennis is and that he’s chunky and thats important in his book.
Game Plan
Colchester will be getting a little worried, even at this stage. There is nothing to show from two games and thy are bottom of the table. They need to stop it from becoming three defeats in a row. They can’t sit back. They can’t afford to lose touch with the clubs above them.
The Dons need to get at Colchester like they did Wrexham and not play like they did at Crawley. The thing we really need is an answer to losing on Tuesday. We have to have a better way than just lumping it forward. Big demands are being put on the favoured eleven.
Dons Line-Up
Options are limited. We aren’t expecting any changes as Alexander really has put his faith in his best eleven three times now. Our achillies heel are substitutions. We need a minimum of three or four players in before the window closes, and that may not even be enough. The Dons also potentially face losing players like Warren O’Hora, who is undoubtedly being looked at by League One sides and a couple of Championship clubs.
