With MK Dons bowing out of the FA Cup after a 3 2 defeat to Portsmouth on Saturday it would have meant our home fixture to Shrewsbury Town would still go ahead.
Steve Cotterill had other plans though.
They played at home to Peterborough on Saturday in the same competition and convincingly won 3-1.
Their reward is a home tie with Sunderland on the weekend of Saturday 7th /Sunday 8th January 2023.
With that news the L1 fixture will be rearranged and still TBC alongside Lincoln A (yes that still has to be rearranged).
Portsmouths reward for Saturday’s victory is a trip to Tottenham…….oh what could have been….. The MKDSA will keep fans updated with the latest fixture news when news is confirmed.
