I always find Trash Talk an essential part of my pre-match reading as it’s always good to get the thoughts of an opposition fan ahead of our forthcoming clash. This week we welcome Donny Rovers fan Lizzie Robinson and thank her for the contribution. It did make me chuckle with her comments on Captain Pugwash.

1 – We are at the halfway stage of the season, has it gone about how you expected for your team so far, has it been better, or turned out to be a bit of a car crash season?
Erm, car crash would be an understatement. A season that was expected to be a rebuild with a mid-table finish has been a disaster, with us sitting at the foot of the table with a shambolic goal difference.
2 – As fans we are never 100% happy about our club, is there something about your club that really annoys you?
The fanbase. It is beyond toxic at the minute, I honestly dread opening twitter these days.
3 – All fans love an away day; can you tell us which ground you have enjoyed visiting the most and why, on the flip side which ground turned out to be a real disappointment?
Given we’ve not won away in the League yet, this is hard. I think the best was Accrington, fantastic pies, and a decent atmosphere. Worst was Charlton, a long way to go to spend 6 quid on a pint and lose 4-0.
4 – Most fans have a special piece of memorabilia in their collection, a unique item that means something special to you, do you have such an item?
I have two, and they’re both signed Paul Keegan shirts, one match-worn and the other he signed while it was on my back. A proper hard hitting CDM. This seasons away kit that I got to model for the launch holds a special place in my heart.
5 – Every team has their own bogey club they just cannot seem to beat, who do you think yours is?
Fleetwood. The theme tune from Captain Pugwash haunts me.
6 – Throughout the course of the season, victory over which club gives you the biggest buzz?
Sorry to say this but the win over MK Dons. Late goal against a team a mile better than us, and I’ve got a friend who’s a Dons fan.
7 – Which player for your club is likely to be the biggest factor in success or failure of the result after 90 minutes?
Tommy Rowe. He is far too good for us.
8 – Is there any MK Dons player you feel could spoil your day?
I’d have said our ex-man Max Watters before he was recalled. But any of your attackers really.
9 – We know its early still, but do you have any nailed-on selections for promotion and relegation?
Wigan and Rotherham will go up automatically, and either Sunderland or MK Dons will go up in the playoffs. Us, Crewe, Gillingham will definitely go down, I hope Fleetwood are the fourth just because I love a trip to Blackpool.
