A relatively easy trip to Crewe Alexandra and the Mornflake Stadium at the weekend and once again we look at the man in the middle.
Andy Haines from Tyne & Wear is the person under the spotlight.
The last time we saw Mr Haines was September 12th, 2020, in our 1-1 draw away to Doncaster Rovers, but can you recall who scored our goal…. the answer is at the bottom of this article.
Ref Haines has officiated 13 games so far this season, booking 36 players, but his red card has stayed firmly in his pocket in that time, in addition he has awarded 2 penalties.
He will be assisted by Oliver Bickle and Steven Plane on the flags with Kenwyn Hughes taking care of the 4th Official duties.
Back to the question from earlier. The Dons fell behind to a 53rd minute goal from Madger Gomes against the run of play with the Dons enjoying 65% possession. In the 88th minute the Dons finally got some reward when Baily Cargill wriggled through the Donny defence and finished smartly after some excellent build up play.
Jordan Houghton was the only player to be booked for the Dons.
Only 4 of those that started that day remain on the Dons books, O’Hora, Lewington, Kasumu, and Harvie.
