In case you hadn’t noticed we kick off at 12-30 for this one and in charge will be Martin Coy from County Durham.
We last saw Mr Coy in January 2020 when we lost 1-0 to Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium in front of a bumper Tuesday night crowd of 2,005 fans.
In the Burton side that night was Scott Fraser and although they had to concede 73 % possession it was Burton who came out on top. A hopeful punt up field by their keeper was nodded on to Liam Boyce who confidently slotted it past Lee Nicholls. We had plenty of chances, in fact we fired in 19 shots, but sadly only 3 were on target, and when the back line was breached Scott O’Hara in goal for Albion was well up to the task.
Mr Coy has been in charge on 26 occasions this season, collecting 64 yellow cards and 3 straight reds, in addition he has awarded 5 penalties.
Ref Coy will be assisted by Nick Cooper and Steve Finch on the flags, and Scott Williams will be on the 4th Official duties.
