As part of a new MKDSA feature this week, we would like to introduce you to the Norton family.
Andrew, Sharon and their son Kieron are season ticket holders who sit in the community corner. They make the 2-hour journey from their home in Mansfield for every home game and attend as many away fixtures as they can. Their friend Martin regularly travels with them to games as well.
Sharon says “We have been coming to MK Dons since 2008, when Kieron was attending private physio in Flitwick, and he became really interested in football. We went on to become season ticket holders in 2015. We were the family behind getting a changing place toilet in the ground so that Kieron could carry on coming to see MK Dons games.”
Pictured left to right at our recent away fixture to Barrow are Sharon, Kieran, Martin and Andrew.
The Norton’s were unfortunate to get caught in the appalling weather during the first half of our most recent game away to Stockport, as they were seated in the front row of the away stand.
However, despite the disappointing result and being soaked through, the trip was made extra special when Max Dean gave Kieron his match shirt at the final whistle. Kieron is pictured below, proudly displaying the shirt.
