MKDSA IN SHENLEY QUIZ NIGHT IN AID OF LOCAL CHARITY
On Monday 11 September, the MKDSA fielded a team at a regular Quiz Night at Shenley Leisure Centre.
On this occasion, the charity being supported was the Milton Keynes & District Group of the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Society.
As some First Team players were unavailable due to injury or work commitments, MKDSA recalled Jeff from a loan spell with one of the other teams. He joined fellow committee members Jo and John.
Great fun was had, showing both what the team was good at and where improvements were needed!
£384 was raised on the night, which will make a significant difference to those affected by MS in Milton Keynes. A major factor in the amount raised was John’s willingness to transfer his matchday skills, selling raffle tickets rather than football cards.
Well done team, a marvellous effort. Thank you for the update, but we noticed there was no mention of the result. We’re going with “it’s the taking part line,” yes?
