Luke Payne: A Message – MKDSA – Milton Keynes Dons Supporters Association.

Luke Payne: A Message

Hi everyone, it’s Luke Payne here, the writer behind Payne’s Player Ratings.

It’s with a heavy heart that I announce I’ll be moving the Player Ratings away from the MKDSA website.

This was a difficult decision for me to make as the MKDSA gave me a platform back when the series was barely known by Dons fans.

I give special thanks to Franco, John, Amanda and everyone else working with the MKDSA. I’m eternally grateful for the support you’ve given me as there is no way I would’ve reached the point where I can now monetise my work without your faith in me.

I wish you the best of luck with the live shows this season, and I’ll be sure to come on at some point to discuss the team we all love.

I would also like to extend my thanks to anyone that’s read any of my content through the MKDSA. Your continued support has been absolutely huge in helping the ratings become what they are today.

With this being said, it isn’t the end of the ratings. They will still be available on all of the major Dons Facebook groups. I appreciate that not everyone has Facebook but I am working on a potential solution to this problem.

In addition to this, I intend to be at the forefront of MK Dons content this season.

I am still writing articles for The Deck (Sports) and am now the co-host of a new weekly League Two Podcast called Fourth Tier Fever. It’s available on all streaming platforms so please be sure to check it out when you have some time to spare.

What the MKDSA have enabled me to do is essentially push me a step closer to having a career in football journalism.

In that sense, I’ll always consider myself a representative of the MKDSA.

For one last time… If you’ve read this far then thank you! I hope to catch up with you all at a game soon, You Dons!

It’s been an absolute pleasure to help Luke on his journey. The MKDSA are proud to support up and coming content providers and do so without an agenda.

Luke will be the first of many that we support who will eventually outgrow us, but nothing gives us more pride than to see fellow Dons fans build theirs, and the clubs profile.

We hope Luke will visit us from time to time on our Live show and we look forward to tracking his progress.

Luke Payne, Fan of the Year and one of our own.
