The Travel Team have had an extremely busy week and has now released the travel details for Monday.
Good evening
MKDSA Travel are looking forward to our away travel this coming Monday 06th May 2024. Here are some important details for everyone travelling with us:
• Due to the MK running event over the bank holiday weekend, we are unable to use Stadium MK as our normal departure point.
• With help from the club, we can confirm the coaches will now be leaving from Milton Keynes Coachway at Junction 14.
• The post code for SatNav purposes is MK16 0AA.
• Anyone who has purchased a wheelchair ticket or accessibility seat is requested to arrive no later than 8:45am, as boarding for the London hire bus will start at 9:00am.
Important
• Apart from our wheelchair and accessibility purchasers, we respectfully ask that you do not arrive at The Coachway before 9:00am as National Express will be operating their own busy services. Our aim is to board people on their arrival so as not to affect other travellers.
• The journey around the M25 is unpredictable at the best of times, With this in mind and with the approval of Crawley Town FC and police, boarding for our 53-seater coaches will start at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. departure.
• Parking is free at The Coachway, however, we don’t control it or guarantee the number of spaces that will be available.
• We’d encourage as many of you as possible to share with the people you are travelling with, be dropped off by someone, or book a taxi.
• There are toilet facilities on site. There is a 30p charge for the use of the toilets, which is cash only. There is a change machine, and there is a cafe on site.
• On arrival at the ground, there will be a fanzone for us behind the stand we are situated in, and it opens at midday, we are timing our arrival for this.
• At the time of writing, we plan to be dropped off at the ground to avoid a walk of 8 minutes. (This may change due to local restrictions.)
• Due to Sky TV trucks occupying the car park, the coaches will be relocated to a local school. They will return to the ground, and you will be directed to them after the game.
• We have a limited amount of time to board and depart at Milton Keynes Coachway, so we will be departing promptly, On this occasion, we will not be calling any late arrivals.
• If you have any issues, please call the travel team on 07796 087447 or email travelmkdsa@gmail.com.
A reminder of our normal travel conditions
• Please ensure that you have your “email with coach ticket attached” open in readiness for scanning. NO Screenshots
• The appointed Marshalls will oversee the coach journey, and the MKDSA Away Travel team will be present to provide support.
• There is no planned stop; however, there will be toilet facilities onboard.
• No alcohol or pyrotechnics whatsoever, and anyone found with these items runs the risk of being refused travel.
• We would like to remind everyone travelling that for everyone’s safety, please remain in your seats except for the use of toilet facilities, and if seat belts are provided, please use them.
We look forward to seeing you all on Monday.
Regards
The Travel Team
