Ryan’s Ref Review

By Ryan Willshire, The MK Fellas

We see ourselves on another away trip after Tuesday night’s away game in Bradford. It will be interesting to see how Dan Kemp will play, as it is his first game back after being recalled last month.

This brings me to the referee for Saturday’s game, which is Scott Tallis. He refereed one EFL game last year, the fixture being Rochdale vs Tranmere, which finished 2-2. He also refereed one EFL trophy match, MK Dons vs Walsall, which we won 2-0. The goalscorers were Nathan Holland and Henry Lawrence.

This season is his first full season as an EFL referee. He has refereed 23 games so far this season. This includes 4 EFL Trophy games, 9 League one games, 8 League two games, and 2 FA Cup games. He has given 93 yellow cards, with 1 of the yellows turning into a red card, and he has given 1 red card.

This will be his second game in charge of us. It has already been mentioned above. This will also be the second time he has refereed Swindon, with his first game earlier this season being Morecambe vs Swindon, which ended in a 2-2 draw, with Dan Kemp scoring one of the goals for them.

His assistant referees are James Vallance and Sean Rothwell and his Fourth Official Christopher Husband

Thank you for reading about our ref on Saturday
