By Chris Turner, The MK Fellas

Today is matchday as MK Dons face Bradford City for the Dons 31st league fixture of the 2023/24 League Two season.

MK Dons come into this game sitting in 6th off the back of a 2-1 win against Accrington Stanley at StadiumMK courtesy of goals from Jack Payne and Joe Tomlinson.

Bradford come into the game sat 14thΒ  off for back of a 1-0 away win at Wrexham last time out. They have won 1, drawn 3 and lost 1 in their last 5 league outings and are managed by former MK Dons manager Graham Alexander, who was sacked earlier on this season, and succeeded by Mike Williamson.

Last time the two teams met was back in October, and the Dons tore Bradford apart, winning 4-1 thanks to goals from Max Dean, Joe Tomlinson, Jack Payne, and Alex Gilbey. MK havent won at Valley Parade for a number of years now, and our last visit there was in the 2018/19 League One season where we lost 2-0 due to goals from Timothee Diang and Alex Gillead.

Dons come into the game with 3 wins and 2 losses in their last 5 league games, and also have 3 wins and 2 losses in their last 5 away games. You would have to go back to April 2008 for the last time Mk Dons won away at Bradford City.

Nathan Harness, Jack Tucker and Max Dean still remain out with their longer term injuries., Stephen Wearne, Ellis Harrison Cameron Norman and Matt Dennis all were on the bench against AccringtonΒ  and could feature bur we don’t want to rush them back. Warren O’Hora will be expected to return after missing Saturdays game due to personal reasons.

Our predicted XI is:

Marschall Lofthouse Williams O’Hora Harvie Tomlinson Bate Payne Gilbey Harrison Kemp.

Predicted score from me is a 1-1 draw to Dons with Wearne to grab one off the bench for the Dons.

This will be a tricky game with it set to be heated as we face our former manager Graham Alexander and we haven’t won there in a very long time and our record against Bradford is poor so I see it as a draw but could be winnable if we maintain this fitness levels at the moment.

Onto kickoff at 7:45, see you all there, Come on you Dons!
