Former Tranmere Rovers Owner Dies

The MKDSA would like to send its condolences to the family and friends of former Tranmere owner Peter Johnson who has passed aged 84.

Peter was instrumental in the survival of Tranmere Rovers in their darkest moments in the early 1980s. With the club on the verge of a financial precipice, Johnson led Tranmere back to financial health. Its acknowledged by many his actions saved the club.

We’d like to assure the club and its supporters that they are in our thoughts at this sad time and that any tribute to Peter this Saturday will be respected and actively supported.
