Accessibility Guide To Reading

Accessible Car Parking
The best available details we can find on this are at https://www.readingfc.co.uk/matchday/travel-parking/ under the Accessible Parking tab with maps and more details further down this web page. Limited number of accessible parking spaces available to pre purchase at £5 on a first come, first served basis using the phone number below.

Warning – Steep Hill
For mobility impaired fans not familiar with the ground, the most important thing you need to be aware of is the steep hill to the stadium which we would suggest is best avoided having to walk up/down (official away transport drops off at the top of the hill, immediately outside the away entrance).

For this reason, we would strongly recommend any Dons fans concerned about parking and “the hill” to contact Reading’s Disabled Liaison Officer, Paul Collins, at disabillity@readingfc.co.uk tel 0118 968 1313 Option 2 to discuss how their needs can be met.

Provisions Inside the Away End
We have only visited the Select Car Leasing Stadium (formerly the Madejeski) once, in 2015. Our review from then is available to read along with other relevant accessibility details at https://www.levelplayingfield.org.uk/club/reading/ Although now 8 years ago, our understanding is that little has changed since our review in the layout of the away end.

Audio Described Match Commentary
No audio description available, only local radio commentary.
