Groundhopper made the short trip to the Midlands for a game next to the M6 heres the review of The Poundland Bescot Stadium for the Tuesday
|First Impressions of the stadium, parking, ease of entry.
|Parked right outside the stadium near the away turnstiles cant be faulted.
|Food & Drink, range, quality, price.
|Lots of complaints about cold food, pies not ready. Drinks not good either. Staff were friendly.
|View from your seat, any poles in the way, obstructed view, seat broken?
|Some posts obstructruting the view, some broken seats, but reasonable space between the rows.
|Home team support, was it a library, good banter between the fans?
|Very quiet but for a five minute spell, no banter as they were stuck behind the goal at the other end
|What were the stewards like, helpful and friendly or jobsworths?
|A spot of hassle for our fans with accessible needs, who were eventually allowed to join us in the away end.
|Toilet facilities, clean and well equipped with hot water, disgusting.
|Prison standard old school with tepid water but still better than some.
|Ticket pricing, did the price reflect the facilities of the ground?
|A bit above the average and considering the slightly below average facilities as described above, disappointing
|Ground facilities, half time service, did they let fans outside at halftime?
|Fans were allowed out for a half time ciggy, half time service was good mainly because most didnt bother.
|Match atmosphere, did the Dons fans give good support?
|The Dons fans could be heard throughout the game quite a well natured and fun singing
|Ease of exit, did the carpark clear quickly, traffic around the stadium?
|The attendance was 4,515 with 245. Reasonable departure.
|Any other observations or comments that may have affected your scoring?
