Not for the first time we had club director Simon Crampton join us in Lewington’s, to be fair, he visits quite a bit.
Simon has attended our last two social gatherings, the Wembley 15th Anniversary and our Fans Forum earlier this month.
He was in early and during the televised game, he spent time chatting to fans about a wide range of topics.
We ran short of tables and chairs as Lewingtons started to fill up and Simon said “He’d sort it” …no-one expected him to wheel in a load of chairs and ably assisted by fellow Director John Cove who also brought chairs and tables and not just I’d like to add.
