There’s a lot of chatter on the wires about potential targets for the Dons and obviously about Dons in demand by other clubs.
We also have an eye on former players who might be moving, which means the Dons bank balance will be improved.
With the number nine shirt currently unoccupied, there’s hope that a striker more suited to the style being favoured in the early games is heading into MK1.
The big fear is that some of the Dons players are of interest elsewhere. Defender Jack Tucker is reportedly a target for Barnsley, but it’s been said that the Dons have placed a hefty price on him moving. With the captains armband being taken away from Warren O’Hora by Graham Alexander, it was whispered in some quarters it was enough to see him look to move, we’re hoping this has no truth to it.
It’s also worrying that with Dons hotshot Mo Eisa with 4 in 5 starts begins to attract suitors looking for additional firepower.
Former Dons being touted as potentially moving are Sam Nombe who has been linked with a move to Barnsley from Exeter. More likely but still not confirmed is Matt O’Reily who is being linked with his old boss at Spurs.
Only time will tell, and the window is open for a while yet.
