Groundhopper found themselves close to an airport but was unable to take-off from a trip to Sussex to forget. Here’s what our expert reviewer thought.

First Impressions of the stadium, parking, ease of entry.8Its been a four and half years since we’ve played here and not a lot seems to have changed. The journey down was made in fantastically good time. The stewards were ready and parked us up easily enough right at the away end. Accessibility fans were right by their turnstile.
Food & Drink, range, quality, price.8There were two kiosks, chips were cooked on demand, prices weren’t too bad. The bacon rolls and chorizo sausage rolls were apparantly “yummy”
View from your seat, any poles in the way, obstructed view, seat broken?7The Terrace behind the goal was low, and it was a bit hard to see how Mo’s goal went in at the other end. No grumbles from the seated area were heard, although it was right by the corner flag.
Home team support, was it a library, good banter between the fans?5They made a go of it, decent noise to be fair from behind the goal for most of the game, zero banter between the fans.
What were the stewards like, helpful and friendly or jobsworths?7Efficient, friendly and to be honest hardly noticeable which isn’t a bad thing.
Toilet facilities, clean and well equipped with hot water, disgusting.6Spacious and clean with running water, many many cubicals and standy-uppy-ones. Quite a walk from the action though and sound proof from the cheers of us scoring I was reliably told.
Ticket pricing, did the price reflect the facilities of the ground?8The ground was clean and tidy and the adult terrace ticket was just £10 and pound for pound it was pretty decent value
Ground facilities, half time service, did they let fans outside at halftime?9Fantastic bar that away fans were welcomed into, good selection of draught drinks, friendly staff. Also a Fans zone serving what fans want simple, tasty food. Oh how we coverted our opponents zone.
Match atmosphere, did the Dons fans give good support?6Sporradic and quite often lost for words, not one of our best showings, mirrored the football. Not our fault guv. Overall a very quiet evening for the 505 travelling fans.
Ease of exit, did the carpark clear quickly, traffic around the stadium?8Crowd of 3,202. One road out, and parked at the bottom of the car park but we were let out as soon as we were ready, check twitter for our journey home down lanes only just wide enough for the coach. Albert !!
