Today, the four sides battling for a place in League One play the second game of their semi-finals.
Both games are evenly poised with today’s home sides starting at 0-1 down. It won’t be a stretch of the imagination to see these games remaining tight and tense affairs.
First up at 12.30, it’s the Greater Manchester tie with Stockport County v Salford City.
Then, at 3 p.m., it’s Cumbria v West Yorkshire as Carlisle United host Bradford City.
By tea time, we’ll know two more of our opponents for next season. The only thing we are currently guaranteed is one trip to Greater Manchester.
