It’s with much regret that our good friend Steve Manning has announced he has decided to step down from the committee following the end of the season.
The whole committee would like to place on record our thanks, and say that he leaves us with our best wishes and the offer that he’d be welcome back should his available free time permit once again goes without saying.
Steve was at the original gathering to establish the supporters association back in October 2003. He has served on several committees, serving in several different offices.
It was great having Steve on my committeee, and i was really proud he volunteered to run the membership section. He also worked in the shop when he could, and of course, he wrote our match previews.
Steve, we will really miss you and your really rubbish jokes. To be fair though you grew a pretty good moustache for Movember.
Hope you and the boys will still get up to see us in Lewington’s from time to time.
