In life we all make mistakes and the secret is to learn from them.
Today is a massive lesson learnt as I should have realised that the comment could be easily read as being serious, especially when made via an official Organisation account.
What was meant as a light-hearted response to a social media post has unfortunately been taken as a serious response.
I refuse to take the easy option and hide behind an excuse. I take full responsibility for the post and apologise unreservedly for any offence or upset given to both MK Dons FC and our supporters.
The MKDSA back the team 100%. Both the committee and I will be backing them for the final push, as we have at every game in this most difficult season.
I’d like to thank the fans, committee and the club for their messages of understanding and continued support.
