Charlton in review:
The Dons seven game unbeaten run ended on Tuesday night, against mid-table Charlton.
In a match where neither side took the game by its scruff, it was a moment of luck that saw former Dons target Jack Payne gift the visitors the lead, and the points. Leko had fired the first shot across Charlton’s bows when he forced Maynard-Brewer into a good save in the Addicks goal.

Zak Jules’ run down the left wing 180 seconds into the second half nearly bore fruit, his ball into the Charlton box for Eisa was palmed away by Maynard-Brewer.

Charlton were effortless until the 56 th minute, Steven Sessengnon’s curler forced Cumming into beating the ball away from his net. Cumming stood no chance as two former targets combined – Jesurun Rak-Sakyi supplying Paynewith the opportunity to blast Charlton to victory.

Dean Lewington describes this performance as “not being at the races” if this spills over into the last 3 games, this club will not be on league one.

How Fleetwood could line-up? Scott Brown’s go to formation, is the tried and tested 4-2-3-1.
Possible Fleetwood starting XI:
Lynch; Rooney, Sarpong-Wiredu, Earl, Johnstone; Vela, Robertson; Omachere, Stockley, Patterson; Marriott.

How Dons could line-up?
Jacko should stick with his 5-2-3 – 3/4/3 preference as he seeks to take a massive step forward to League One safety.
Possible Dons starting XI:
Cumming; Tucker, Lewington, Stewart; Watson, Maghoma, McEachran, Jules; Leko, Eisa, Grant.

Ones to watch?
Jayden Stockley – Attacker: Stockley is playing like a born again footballer under Brown. Top of the assist charts for the Cod Army his has chipped in with a goal or two of his own since moving north.
Jamie Cumming – Keeper: again the man is pivitol to keeping Jacko’s Dons in the third tier. Expect a busy afternoon for the Chelsea loanee at Highbury.

Score prediction:
Fleetwood 1 Dons 1
Dons to return to draw specialist status against the Cod Army.

Match Odds supplied by talkSPORT Edge:
