The Cheltenham game saw the first trial of our Fans Village.
Its a place you can visit prematch before the stadium opens to eat, drink, listen to music and socialise.
So at 1230pm, it opened, the weather was reasonably kind, and with MKFM perched on the restaurant balcony in Marco Pierre White’s above gate 4 and music providing the backdrop fans started to arrive.
The food was provided by two burger vans and an ice cream van, and the drink was Bar 10 in the East Stand, which had its fire doors opened into the fenced Village arena.
The first few arrivals were our visitors who took the opportunity to sample the food and drink offerings. The village grew busier as hoped nearer kick-off as home fans arrived.
The MKDSA canvassed feedback from attendees and will discuss the findings with the club shortly. We also have our observations as we visited the village multiple times during the afternoon. Our recommendations will be presented, and we look forward to a positive dialogue and growing the fan experience with the club in the future.
