Sunday sees the Women’s team take on Abingdon United at The Meadow, home of Chesham United. Charlie Bill takes his side into their biggest game of the season and are just 90 minutes from brining home silverware back to the City of Milton Keynes.
Abingdon United are in the Southern Region Premier Division and sit second in their league. They have only lost two games in the sixteen league games played and have a goal difference of plus 45.
The Dons are an improved side this season and the squad have grown and developed as the season has gone on. They’ve become a more competitive and resolute side. They have the unity and belief and have closed the gap on the teams at the top in terms of performances.
Charlie has a couple of injury worries ahead of Sunday. Chloe Sampson came off just before the end on Tuesday night at Oxford and Angelina Nixon missed the game after picking up a strain in the first half on Sunday against Crawley.
