Holocaust Memorial Day

By Amanda Lansbury, Vice Chair and EDI Officer MKDSA

The 27th January marks the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest of the Nazi death camps. Every year on that day Holocaust Memorial Day takes place.

In the words of the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust, Holocaust Memorial Day encourages remembrance in a world scarred by genocide.

This Saturday at our home game against Exeter City, the MK Dons along with all of us here at the MKDSA will hold a minutes silence prior to kick off at 3pm.

Please could you make sure you arrive early at the Stadium to gain access to your seats in time for kick off and if you have e-tickets you download them prior to arrival at the stadium as mobile signal can be very slow!!

Once again on behalf of myself and the MKDSA I would like to thank all our supporters in helping us to observe and respect the minutes silence as we remember the six Million Jews who lost their lives and pay our respects to their memory.
