The New Lawn Stadium (GL6 0ET) which has a capacity of 5,140 with just over 2,000 of those seated, unfortunately many of us (up to 1,000) will be standing, and open to the elements, with just a small amount set aside for those wishing to sit, so get in early as I think there are just 200 seats available.
Food wise everything at FGR is vegan, even the cans of coke are too. The milk for tea and coffee is rice, oat, or soya based.
Although just 86 miles from Stadium MK there is no easy way to get there situated at Nailsworth near Stroud, thankfully in the not-too-distant future they will move to a new ground just off the M5, dubbed the greenest football ground in the world.
For those driving and being your first time, you will ask yourself can this really be the way to the ground, trust me it is, follow the Sat Nav and you will arrive at the ground perched on the top of a steep hill which can make for harsh weather conditions…be prepared is the message.
There is a small bar/marquee at the ground for away fans, and when I say small, I mean small. You can see if they will let you in the Green Man situated at the ground, other than that the nearest pub for away fans is the George and a 15-minute hike…. all downhill, don’t forget you will have to walk back.
There is no parking at the stadium unless you are a Blue Badge holder and prebooked, although Nailsworth Primary School does offer matchday parking at £5 per car, and there is a bit of street parking available if you are early enough.
The nearest railway station is at Stroud some 5 miles away and is served by trains from London Paddington, and there is a half hourly bus service (No 63) to very near the ground.
