Forest Green Rovers Accessibility Guide

By Jo and Jeff Newall, Disability Officers, MKDSA

Jo and Jeff take you through the Forest Green Rovers experience and to be honest it’s not a good read from the point of view of the Gloucestershire club.

Facilities have improved in recent years at The Bolt New Lawn Stadium, there is now covered seating at the away end (as well as standing).

Blue Badge parking is free but very limited with very high demand. It can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance by ringing 0333 123 1889. (Box Office closed on Wednesdays.)

Forest Green advise anyone with any accessibility enquiries to ring them on 0333 123 1889 or email reception@fgr.co.uk

There are no wheelchair spaces at the away end. Dons wheelchair fans going to FGR have to purchase their tickets from FGR. Tickets can then be emailed. The wheelchair spaces are not in a covered area. We have been told away wheelchair users are close to the dug outs and when we have previously sat there, our view of the left half of the pitch has been obscured.

An accessible minibus will (as usual) be part of the Dons official away travel and can be booked through the Dons Box Office (same prices as away coach travel).

If you have problems getting wheelchair tickets or have concerns queries about any other aspect of visiting Forest Green Rovers do contact us at disabilitymkdsa@yahoo.com

Otherwise you will find us on 21 Jan sat in the home stand across the ground to the away stand.
