First Impressions of the stadium, parking, ease of entry.7An absoutely miserable South Yorkshire day weather wise. Free on street parking available if you got there early otherwise its around a fiver for most car parks.
The Coach park just a very short walk from the away end. Away fans were in a massive stand which is behind a goal. No drama getting in whatsoever.
Food & Drink, range, quality, price.7The kiosk still serves an array of food, burgers, hot dogs, pies & Sausage rolls. Also sweets & hot & cold drinks which was all reasonably priced. It was cheaper than SMK for most things.
View from your seat, any poles in the way, obstructed view, seat broken?7It’s a cracking view from the away end, no obstructions. Wheelchair users are located within the same stand on a lovely terrace although the carer seat is a row behind for some reason.
Home team support, was it a library, good banter between the fans?3The attendance for this fixture was 9,994 The home fans couldn’t be heard save for cheering three times.
What were the stewards like, helpful and friendly or jobsworths?7The stewards were really friendly and just let us be, flags were allowed to be placed in a lower unused section of terrace.
Toilet facilities, clean and well equipped with hot water, disgusting.7The toilet blocks were clean and well maintained and in abundance. Standard facilities.
Ticket pricing, did the price reflect the facilities of the ground?6An adult ticket was £23 and were available on the day at the ground. Yes it was reasonable.
Ground facilities, half time service, did they let fans outside at halftime?5The concourse area under the stand was open at the turnstile end and fans were out there in the “fresh” air. Queues were long for under 400 being there.
Match atmosphere, did the Dons fans give good support?5There were 391 Dons fans at the game but there wasnt much to sing about so the Irony Song Book made a comeback.
Ease of exit, did the carpark clear quickly, traffic around the stadium?8We made a fairly easy exit to the stadium area and it was a decent drive back down to where it was it was both warmer and drier than during the game.
